Discord Text Repeater

At the time of writing, a single Discord message can carry 2,000 characters on a standard account and about twice that with a Nitro subscription. Everything counts: spaces, line breaks, backticks and the invisible parts of emoji sequences. Custom server emoji are especially expensive, because each one is stored as a long tag rather than a single symbol, so a row of them eats the budget quickly.

Paste something longer and the client will not silently truncate it. Depending on your settings it either refuses to send or offers to upload the text as a file attachment. If your repeated block is meant to be read rather than admired, the file route is often the better one, and the download button on this page produces the same thing without a round trip.

A code block preserves spacing exactly, which matters if your repeated string is ASCII art or aligned columns. Wrap the block in triple backticks and Discord stops interpreting asterisks, underscores and other markdown inside it. Spoiler bars, written as double pipes on each side, are a courteous option in a busy channel because the wall of text stays collapsed until somebody chooses to open it.

Watch out for characters that mean something to Discord. Text containing an at sign followed by a role or username can generate real mentions, and a repeated mention notifies real people dozens of times. The hash symbol can resolve to a channel link. If your string includes either, wrap it in inline backticks so it renders as literal text and pings nobody.

Servers defend themselves. Slow mode limits how often each member can post, AutoMod can delete messages that match a repetition or keyword rule, and moderators can time out or ban an account for flooding a channel. None of that is negotiable from your side, and pasting one enormous message rather than many small ones is generally the version that survives.

There is a firmer rule as well. Automating a normal user account to send messages — a self-bot — is against Discord's terms of service and is grounds for account termination, even when the messages are harmless. This tool deliberately does no sending at all: it produces text for you to paste manually. If you need automated posting, build a proper bot with the official API and the server's permission.

Read the room as well as the rules. A repeated block is harmless in a memes channel where everyone is joking around, and thoroughly unwelcome in a support channel where somebody is waiting for an answer. Never use repetition to drown out another member, to work around a mute, or to pressure someone into responding to you.
